Reserve. Arrive. Drive. That’s it.
The original and best private members boat club. Established 2006
As a member of The Marine Club you can enjoy access to the freedom of the seas for a fraction of the price of whole boat ownership. Take the helm of a range of sports and recreational boats at a growing network of national and international locations.
Members pay an annual fee and choose from a fleet of boats reserved in advance. All they have to do is have fun while we take care of all the details.
Owner members supersize their boating experience by owning a share of a much larger boat. On selected models we'll even throw in a Club Membership for the days you feel like something nippier.
Each location has a Bosun allocated to launch and recover, offer assistance, experience and concierge service.
How Does The Club Work?
The are two simple ways to get on the water:
1) Marine Club Membership offers a number of benefits over ownership, with no capital investment, no refueling hassle and no maintenance, launch or recovery fees. You pay an annual fee, we provide you with a choice of boats.
2) Marine Club Ownership offers all the advantages of a fully managed environment with the advantage of pride of ownership at a vastly discounted rate.
All you need to do is enjoy days of stress free boating
How much?
Marine Club Membership is £2625 which offers unlimited use of a fleet of boats at your chosen location. You just pay for fuel used. That's it.
Marine Club Ownership is priced on a boat by boat basis. We divide the boats price into 25% ownership packages, the boat is owned for 3 years at the end of which we offer a guaranteed buy-back. We manage the boat fully for which we charge a monthly fee. Larger yachts might also offer tax incentives and could be located overseas in which case we'll also give you a Marine Club Membership in the UK just in case all that sun and sangria gets too much.
I know nothing about boats, isn't that expensive?
Boats are an expensive luxury. Just ask anyone who has bought what they thought was a cheap boat. Here's an example of ownership costs of an entry level boat worth £30,000 with a 20% deposit £6000
12 months of marine finance repayments £2589
Insurance - £350
1st yr depreciation of 20% - £4000
Maintenance £500
Storage and launching £500
First year costs not including deposit £7939
Personal costs not shown here: You'll probably need a 4 wheel drive to launch which will rot out in months from being dunked in the sea. It will stink of fuel because like many you'll carry 100 litres of petrol in the back and a can will leak -they always do. Your significant other will need to be competent at reversing a big trailer down a slipway or reversing a big boat off a trailer. Batteries always go flat on a Saturday morning. If it all goes wrong out there you are on your own.
Fair Play
We pride ourselves on being nice chaps and are here to make this as fun and easy as possible. 'Unlimited' for Marine Club Members means one booked day at a time during our opening hours. Of course we want you on the water so if no-one wants the boat the day after then here are the keys. We keep our ratios low so hope you first choice is always available, if it isn't we'll work with you. If a member decides they only want the boat for the morning then we'll give you a call to see if you want to go out for the afternoon. We hope our personal touch will really make the difference. It's how we would like to be looked after.

What our competition says
Well, they don't actually but the fact that many out there have copied the idea, the verbiage and some even have their version of our distinctive logo makes us proud they also feel we are the best in the business and are worth aspiring to. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
